Data controller

The data controller is Cleveral Adam Kocić. For any matter about your personal data, write to contact@plotbaseapp.pl.

The site is owned by Adam Kocić.

What data I process

  • From the contact form: your first name, email address and message, and if you give them, your last name, phone number and topic.
  • From the early access form: your email address, the site language and your consent.
  • From email: your email address, signature and message.
  • Technical data: your IP address and browser details, which the server records in its log on each visit.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your enquiry and preparing a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Emailing you once the first version of PlotBase is ready, if you joined the early access list. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • Keeping correspondence, and establishing and defending legal claims. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in staying in touch with people who write to me and in protecting myself against claims (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Keeping the site secure and working, using technical data. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in protecting the site against abuse (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Do you have to give your data

Giving your data is voluntary. Without your first name, email address and message, though, I cannot reply to your enquiry. To join the early access list, I need your email address and your consent.

Recipients

  • Netlify, Inc., the hosting provider that runs the site, the contact form and the early access form. Netlify processes data on my behalf.
  • Google (Gmail), the email provider I use for correspondence.
  • Public authorities, where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the EEA

Netlify, Inc. is based in the United States, so data from the forms may be transferred there. Netlify takes part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has found an adequate level of data protection (Implementing Decision 2023/1795). If that basis ever stops applying, the transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission (Implementing Decision 2021/914).

Both bases are set out in Netlify’s data processing agreement (opens in a new tab). You can look up participants on the Data Privacy Framework website (opens in a new tab).

Email goes to a Gmail mailbox run by Google. Google may process this data outside the EEA too, including in the United States. Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab) sets out how and on what basis.

How long I keep data

  • I keep enquiries and correspondence for 12 months after our last contact.
  • I keep your early access address until I send the email that the first version is ready, or until you withdraw consent if that comes first. Then I delete it.
  • If we sign a contract, I keep the data for its duration, then for the limitation period for claims and the period tax law requires.
  • Netlify keeps technical data in the server log for the period its security rules set.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data and get a copy,
  • have your data corrected,
  • have your data erased,
  • restrict processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect processing before you withdrew it,
  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.

To use these rights, write to contact@plotbaseapp.pl. I will reply within one month.

Automated decisions

I make no automated decisions about you and do not profile your data.

Cookies

The site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. When you change the language in the menu, the site keeps your choice for a year in a cookie named nf_lang, so your next visit opens in that language. It is needed for a feature you chose to use, so it does not require consent (Polish Electronic Communications Law, art. 399(3)). You can delete it in your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

If I change how I process data, I will update this page and the date at its top.
